MONDAY CAFÉ AT THE READING ROOM

A Happy Easter to All.

Please note that during the Easter Holidays the Reading Room Café will be closed on Monday the 30th of March and Monday the 6th of April 2026

Monday morning 8.45am to 2pm Morning coffee, tea, homemade cakes and toasted tea cakes followed by, at 11.30am, homemade soup with fresh bread.

If you are looking to book the room please try to give as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment. Call 07505031967

NB: A new book, "Grenoside's Industrial Heritage" by local man Bob Cooper, has been published. The book is sponsored by the Friends of Grenoside Steel Works. Copies can be obtained from the Reading Room, for a small donation of £5, on two Mondays: April 20th and April 27th between the hours of 9.30 and 12.00ish!

We are collecting plastic milk bottle tops at The Reading Room to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research (reg charity 516898) well over £16,500 raised so far! Thank you to all who are collecting.
